The part that scares me is popping off the mirror. I’d hate to shatter one of them.

Wish they made these for the towing mirrors. Also wish they had a running light feature.

I’d wager to say it’s next to impossible to do that based on how they snap in. Just push the mirror to one of the corners and a gentle pry up and out is all they take

You’ll be fine, just go slow. The only “hard part” is the driver side mirror has slightly different mounting points so takes more finesse to reinstall but the whole thing takes maybe 30 min.
For popping the mirror covers off, I found what helps the most is to just use your hand and wiggle the outermost side of the cover and don’t try to go from inside out. Outside in is way easier to get it to release

Got driver side in. It’s real weird hearing all the pops as I was removing the caps. I was telling it, please don’t break!

This^^^ I did drivers side first, went fine, then passenger mirror was on there good, much harder to get the glass off & I cracked it in the process. So now, I at least did get my signal lights in, now waiting on a new mirror glass. Funny thing is, I saved on the signals with a black Friday sale, now I'm paying well over that for a damn mirror glass. :(

Yeah, I did driver side first And was a pain to slept the mirror back in. When I did the passenger side, I was like why didn't the driver side come out this way. I snapped the clips on the actual housing trying to pull it off. The clip at the father's out edge of the mirror.
Looks so much better on black mirror then the clear/white ones.
