Almost there, finished up conduit, and pulled wire yesterday. Today got both of the indoor units hung.

Yeah it is a lesson for sure.... but since then... some things changed. I ended up running fuel/water/saws down there so I could help but not be at risk. I couldnt just do nothing, but I couldnt get to involved either. My wife is amazing and supported this, but was happy when I was home same day.

and it is funny how it works, I am from here. I moved West and finally made it home. I will take windy rains over hells fire fury any day!

It has been a busy couple of days. I am still trying to decides where to post the other pics... but!!! I have my propane tank plumbed and setup for my generator and grill. And then the emotional part... My dads grill became too much of a liability so I "upgraded" today. Basically the same grill without the worthless side burner. My favorite part is the price, since we are planning on an outdoor kitchen, this just needs to last a couple of years.

Next I need to put away the generator shed and move the camper electrical to be away from the propane manifold.

It’s for the hardest client! My wife haha. We are hosting thanksgiving in this new house and I just remodeled the dining room and wanted to make a big table to seat 10-12 (apparently buying a table over 8 seats is very hard unless it’s custom from my research). Got the second gloss coat on and the chairs put together, ready for some fun.

New counters got installed yesterday. Cut out old mosaic backsplash and fit drywall patch panels. Took the opportunity to run some small wire from left to right of the sink for future under cabinet lighting. Thinking the LED strip kind that stick into aluminum tracks with diffusers.

We also scored a massive dining table on fb marketplace, 9ft long plus 2x 16" leaves! With a bench and four chairs but it needs a good cleaning and probably a fresh finish on the top. A project for another weekend but saved over $2k from what we were looking at new!

FYI. Did you know? The insulating value of wood, by itself is 1.4 per inch to achieve an R value of 1. So, you would need some thick walls to maintain a constant temperature.

Don't take this the wrong way but when dealing with that shit, get a pair of the Mrs. pantihose cut one of the legs off and put it on your arm, just like you would with a sock.
Wipe your neck, face arm and legs off,the micro fibers grabs the "glass" off.
I learned this from an Old timer.

I would rather cut and hang insulation than finish drywall. Change my mind.

Had a leak in my Polaris boost pump. Replaced the seals couple weeks ago and dang it still leaking so I took it apart and found small crack in the housing behind the impeller. Just my luck. Pump is the pre-2011 design and part has been discontinued. Called around and found a nearby pool store that still had NOS part. Since it wasn’t in their inventory they gave me a good discount. Another set of new seals and o-rings and an hour of my time, back in business. No leaks this time - win!

Nothing exciting, but replacement ice maker arrived today so got it swapped out. Sounds like a common problem with the Samsung refrigerators.

Samsung warrantied our ice maker on a 6 year old out of warranty fridge that came in a house we bought! One phone call, no questions asked. Tech at our door with all parts a few days later. They sealed the ice maker cover panels, swapped a control board and other parts too. It hasn't frozen up again in 3 years but still kinda sucks at making whole ice cubes.

Big crash while we were having dinner. Guess this will go to the top of my to do list. Been in the closet for over 20 years. Definitely switching to wood setup and get rid of the wire shelf crap.

I never thought to call them since the fridge is almost 3 years old now. Good to know for next time.

    I'm back.
First thing is now great is Vevor ! I spent Friday using a Venvor Propress at work, jaws from 1/2 to 2 inches, spent Saturday finialy using the bucket forks that cost like 20 percent of the John Deere cost.

    Edit spelling *Vevor

Those forks were my first choice to move pallets. Worked great, until I went to move a 1/2 pallet of concrete off the trailer. What a mess. Then I got the John Deere adjustable pallet forks. Those things will lift anything the tractor will pick up.

Well yours at least is driving her Venza. Mine has only put 950 miles in 14 months on hers cause it has to many buttons.

But I had a lot of fun playing with the star gazer roof on the way home from the dealership

Good eye! I struggled with a tricky area around that window corner and wasn't happy with it. Pulled a few tiles off and gave that section a quick dry because the drywall compound felt soft under it. We'll see if I'm forced to have patience to redo it a third time in the morning

    The Dirty T ( ^_^)_且

A lot less buttons on my wife's, it's a 2013. But she doesn't drive it much more than your wife does. I bought it in 2015 used with 26,000 on it and it's just now approaching 50k.
