Looking forward to Big Bend trip day after Christmas for 2 to 4 days w wife, son, daughter in law and their 2 dogs.
Wife and I will be lightweights watching after dogs based in Alpine and venturing out here and there while the twenty somethings take in the heavy hiking miles.
Inviting input on the sites to take in at the destination as well as the route between Houston and Alpine. Also looking for a good halfway point to stay breaking up the journey.
