2018 SR Android Radio install, back up camera not working

I just installed one of the eBay android radios into my 2018 SR. I contacted the seller yesterday about the steering wheel controls not programming and the rearview camera. He only responded about the steering wheel controls which I will try today. I did some searching on here back to 2018, but could not find my specific issue with this type of radio. Looking for some help getting the camera to work...

 

Presumably backup cam worked before the radio swap? Do you have a link to the specific radio you installed?

I got this reply with the radio diagram from the seller:
Please make the pink BACK wire (which is wired to a pcb board on the loop) needed to be attached to a reverse sensor line on a separate 8 pin connector - a black and red wire.

Based on the sellers instructions I guess my only advice would be to use a multi-meter, try and find a red and black wire on a factory 8 pin harness, and then test it's voltage when you shift into reverse.

Thanks for the help. I figured out that the factory settings had the wrong camera frame rate listed. Once I found the correct one, the camera started to work correctly.
