I'm looking at buying the Addictive Desert Designs Stealthfighter front bumper for my Tundra. The low-profile design is what really draws me to it.

The area for the main light bar is designed to house up to a 40" curved light bar, or up to 10 3" cube lights, like the BD Squadrons or DD SS3's. Of all the pictures I've seen with this bumper installed, everyone is running a full 40" light bar. I was interested to see what it would look like with other combinations so I made a few very rough "sketches".

Would love to hear what you guys think!

I like the look of individual pod lights. With room for 10 you could probably come up with a pretty good setup. Could even rig up more than one switch to allow different lights on or off for various conditions/need.

if you do it, make sure to update with pictures so we can all see how it comes out

That was my thought, with the individual lights. I'm installing a Garmin Powerswitch to handle whichever lights I end up going with, so with 10 cubes, plus the outer 2, I could come up with some cool combinations.

I'd go PODS. You'll get more output and customization with pods. I'd look at the morimoto banger line (4 bangers). I have the bigbangers for my ditch lights and they are crazy bright.

I just ordered the bumper today. Once I receive it I'll play around with mocking up some lights.

In actually leaning towards a 30" curved bar, like the OnX6 from BD, with pods filling up the remaining space. I would have 5" on either side of the center bar, so I could with go with one 3" cubes or two 1" cubes. I'll have to check quick one could get me the most light output.

Dang it! I missed this thread. Definitely could have helped you out on the bumper.

As for light selection, the OnX6 is a UNIT, and the best power/footprint out there right now. Leveraging an OnX6 for reach and some squadrons to fill in the near/midfield is a solid plan. We can definitely help out there as well, and might even have what you're after on the shelf!

Can also help with figuring out the wiring as well. I personally run a powerswitch, and love it.

For wiring I was going to order the custom kits from Blaze Offroad once I figure out which lights I'm going to go with.

So after chatting with ADD, I came to realize that there were some limitations on what combinations of lights could be run in the bumper. I had decided that i wanted to run a 30" curved light bar and a set of pods, but the mounting slots on the bumper wouldn't accommodate that setup, apparently.

So I went with the 40" OnX6 Dual Control from Baja Designs and a set of Squadron Sport wide/ cornering for the outermost pod location. I got everything installed on the bumper today, and on Friday, I go and get the bumper installed!

This past Friday I had the bumper installed by Dirtslayers Garage, down in Idaho Falls, and I'm super happy with it. The output of the lightbar blew me away, honestly. I was expecting it to be awesome, but the first time I fired it up at 100% I swore out loud, I was legitimately surprised.

The Garmin Powerswitch is also really cool and gives me a lot of flexibility in programming the lights with different functions. In addition to controlling the Squadrons and OnX6 Dual independently, I've got custom buttons for all the ambers so I can run them at 100% or at 1% where they act like additional running lights. I've got another set of buttons programmed for all the lights at 50% and again for 100%, friendships on the need.

I will say that the Powerswitch app runs MUCH better through my phone than it does through Android Auto. The interface through Android Auto is much more basic than with the phone, but I still have access to the different buttons that I created. In the past two days that I've had it though, the Powerswitch app has locked up after turning some lights on and I was only able to turn the lights off by using the app on my phone. I'm thinking that sooner or later I'll get one of Garmin's Tread devices to act as a dedicated screen for the Powerswitch.
