Does this ride height look correct?

working through issues on my new 07 tundra. This has relatively new struts. The coil springs do not look stock to me (expected to see two colored dots like my tacoma. Thinking that the PO purchased loaded struts from KYB or some other aftermarket source. Struts are black with no stickers or other markings except a part number etched into them - 1200G921. It also has 1" lift spacers (1" spacer for 2" of lift). I would have expected that the front would ride higher with 2" of lift. Am now wondering if he got the wrong springs in there.

Can you guys look at this picture and tell me if it looks right for a 2" lift in the front?

Can you post a picture of the springs and front suspension setup? Also the rear leaf pack - does it have a block or other modifications?

I think the fender flares with stock tires and wheels is skewing the appearance, as well as the slope in the driveway. Maybe park in a level surface and snap a pic. If the rear is also lifted a bit, the stance looks about right.

 

I would think a 2" front lift would be higher than that.
Stock Toyota shocks are black with no markings other than a part number, but not the number you posted.
Also the front spring is pretty small.

This is my 2014 with 2.5" of lift.

 

i will try to grab another pic. No lift spacer in the rear. hard to tell if rear springs are stock, but guessing they are not based upon rust level.

 

I thought 2" would about level the truck and your pic looks closer to what I would expect. I really wonder if the PO put the wrong strut/spring combo in there. I have found all sorts of errors from previous work. I think I will try to find some take off stock springs and just get a couple new KYB struts.

 

I have 2.5" lift in front with 6112s and 1" shackles on the rear..

 

but without the 1" lift in the rear, it looks like you would have been close to level front and back. I have 2" up front and nothing in the rear and it has a LOT of rake. I don't really care that much about the lift, just want to be sure I have the correct springs and question whether or not I do.

 

Yes it was dead level before I put the shackles in.
The front looks high in the pic, but the fenders measured equally..

Looks stock to.me. Does it ride like a hay wagon...my stock 07 SR5 4.7L does.

Seems to ride fine. Definately not like a higher performance strut, but not real floatty either. This is pretty subjective though.

So, if a 1" spacer (2" lift) has me riding at basically stock height, can I safely assume that the wrong springs are in there? Either too short or too soft.
