Hello! This is my first post. I've read and read and read. I'm prepared to get roasted in case I missed this somewhere. It's likely I did. There's a lot of info on here. Anyway, here goes...

Recently purchased a 2020 DC TRD Offroad. 20k miles. I don't do a lot of wheeling, but my hunt club is pretty nasty. I need tires soon.

I'd like to fit 35x12.5 on a diff set of wheels in the future. Don't have the money for wheels now, and I don't want to buy smaller tires just to replace in a year.

So, with adjustable caster UCAs, a diff front bumper, and bilstein 6112s, will 35x12.50 clear the UCA on stock wheels? I figured the caster change would clear the cab mount, but wasn't sure of the UCA. If you guys think this will work, what are opinions on which control arm? JBA is non-adjustable, but has 1 degree built in i believe. How much caster would be needed to clear the cab mount? 4? Does SPC offer enough? Had anyone used 4 wheel parts for alignments? How did they do? Thanks for any help, and I apologize if I missed this in my search.

No. If anything, an adjustable UCA would give you less clearance from the sidewall as the ball joints are usually much bigger on aftermarket parts. You’re certainly not going to fit that size tire on a stock suspension though. Maybe a mall crawler that doesn’t turn. But if you’re actually using the truck Offroad, those tires won’t work on a stock truck.

I understand I'll have to lift it also. I was thinking of bilstein 6112, but undecided. Thanks for your reply.

With 6112s at top setting, with your other list of mods, you’ll be much better off. The high offset stock wheels will still be an issue with clearance between sidewall and the uca.

That's what I was afraid of. I didn't know if aftermarket UCAs would also give a little clearance between them and the inside sidewall. I suppose I may have to go with 295/70s and then just see what I can out of them when I purchase wheels. Or, I don't know, maybe thise will end up looking ok with the new wheels. 35s just look perfect to me. Anyway, thanks for the replies.

They make 35x11.50 tires also. Or you can also run a wheel spacer with the 12.50 until funds allow for new wheels with a proper offset.

I wouldn't be opposed to 35x11.50, but cooper doesn't make that size in the stt pro. I'm stuck on that tire. I'm currently on my third set on my other truck and they have been great. They pull good, I get close to 60k miles out of them. 55-60. I thought about switching up tires, but nah. Spacers isn't a bad idea. I've never used them. I hear mixed opinions. I wonder if they're actually that terrible. If I went that route, I'd go with the thinnest required for clearance, Clarence. Maybe 1/2".

A 295/70-18 basically is just metric equivalent to a 35x11.5 inch size.
The actual diameter is roughly 34.5 inches either way for most manufactures and 295mm is 11.6inches for section width.

Ok, right on. I was thinking a little off by about 1/2", but yeah, you're right. Thank you, fellas.
