Hey, this is my first time on this forum. Glad to be here.
I have Michelin 265/70/R18’s now, I wanted to go with the BF Goodrich a/t ko3 or cooper strong hold a/t. I love to go with the taller tire to get a little lift without putting a lift kit on. I have SR5 4x4 with a TRD Pro Upgrade. I was wondering if anybody has put taller tires on factory rims and what size it would be. I can’t get too aggressive with the tires cause my wife doesn’t like to hear that loud noise when she’s in the truck. Looking forward to the feedback
    Thanks

you can safely put 34s, maybe 34.5 depending on the tire without any modification. I have 275/65/r20 on my limited with room to spare, likely could have gone 285/65/r20 which is another 1/2" taller, but my tires aren't aggressive Defender LTX Platinum so definitely not ko3, baja boss, open country type tire

You have a TRD Off-road package, NOT a TRD Pro. Hopefully you didn't get charged TRD Pro price?

Either tire you suggested will be louder than your wife will approve of.
I've had KO and KO2s on my 2014.

Your truck looks like it's already lifted. Might want to check your front suspension.

That’s what I thought. 35’s will easily fit on factory wheels. I’m running 295/70r18 on a 1” front level

Does this truck have any lift or level kit in it. I’m looking to upgrade to the 285/70-18 from the stock 265/70-18 myself without doing a lift or level kit. No rubbing?

I just put 285/65/20 on my 24 Platinum with stock suspension. Zero rub.

If it’s any consolation, they’re pretty heavy. I’ve already seen the turbo working harder and the mpg going lower during a normal commute. You’re probably in better shape with yours.
