Anybody know the thread size for the 4 LBJ bolts that thread into the steering knuckles? I am wanting to try to clean up the threads on the knuckle with a tap. One of the new bolts isn't wanting thread into the knuckle. I pulled the LBJ to the side and just tried to get the bolt straight into the knuckle to see if it would go, and the bolt won't thread into it.

Hey and let us know if that fixes your issue please. About to do this job on mine and am anticipating some squirrely threads too.

I ordered an M10x1.25 thread chaser that should be here tomorrow, so hopefully I can let you know by Sunday.

No luck on cleaning up the threads on the knuckle. I started the ball joint bolt by hand and continued with a ratchet, so I don't know how I managed to mess up the threads on the one hole. Ordered a new knuckle today.

Is it not possible to run a bolt in reverse thru the knuckle? Maybe there's not enough space, but this is a common tactic to use with other stuff, like bike cranksets.

Not sure. Threads are buggered up pretty good. They're removing the threads from the bolt when I try to put them in normally.
