Hey everyone! New member here! I just recently got a 2012 Crewmax TRD Off Road, and we've been wheeling around on some fun trails to start off with. I'm going to Breckenridge soon, and was wondering if any one had done the Peak 10 Trail all the way up to the summit in a crewmax? Switchbacks at the top look a little intimidating for the wheel base.

Thanks! Excited to be a part of the group!!

I've done peak 10 in my older truck, it was late September as we were in town for our anniversary. We got to the base of the switchbacks when a snow storm started rolling over the hill, so we decided to turn back. Probably could have made it but didn't want to bother with the cold. I'm not sure, but it may be snowed over at this point.

Dude! My wife and I went the last week of September for our anniversary too!! Haha! Same for us, it wasn't snowing or anything, it was actually a beautiful day, but we got to the base of the switchbacks and it just seemed a little tight to do alone. The truck could've done it and I probably would've if we had other rigs with us. As soon as we started coming down, EVERYONE started coming up, Jeeps, Broncos, GXs, and we just didn't have time to stay. Definitely doing it next time though.
