Recently threw check engine light, p1603, 04 and 05. While driving I lost everything on the gas pedal, my brakes got stiff and power steering went out. The truck idled down until the engine was off. After I let the truck sit for awhile it will start back up and run for about 30 minutes before it throws the same codes and acts the same way. I replaced the fuel pump and relay. Was able to drive for about three days before the same issue happened again. From what I've been seeing about these codes I don't fit Into the no starting category. My next assumption is the charcoal cannister under the truck has gone bad, or the Computer down there has taken its beating? Anyone have any ideas. As I am still fairly new to truck vehicle repairs.
