I've never had it either on my past cars. I just don't want extra lights on my cluster.

After correcting and polishing paint, I use Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax to protect the paint. It's easy on and easy off.
Thanks fellas (and ladies) for this and other information that's been provided. I am new to the Tundra world and finding out that while the Tundras are strong trucks they have some quirks that needs to be addressed. I will have more questions, especially if I need to upgrade to larger brakes. I will search the stickies 1st.

Slight texturing. I have gotten a bunch of samples to try for a color match wrap but have yet to find one to match the 02 red.

Almost lost my damn BedRug today. Took some stuff to a recycle place, styrofoam, shit like that. Forgot I dropped the tailgate to slide stuff out. Got in the truck and hauled ass down the interstate. Pull up at home and my quickstraps are the only thing that saved the floor from sliding out. I had pulled it a few weeks back to haul some nasty shit I didn’t want getting all up in the carpet.

Naw, I love that shit. It looks great from the front. Just looks silly from the back with the tinted back glass, makes it 3-tone*. Camper shell matches the color matched Limited side trim nicely

Oh and you guys will love this. I know we've seen it before. I know I've helped one or two people with this before. But ...

I got my first turn-key-and-starter-click when I went to start today. I haven't driven in a couple days, but I've left my truck for 2 weeks without driving and it still fires right up first key turn.

So I turn it off. Kick the key forward and *click*. Look at the voltage and it's not unusually low, 11-12 volts with the truck on, hard to say exactly.

    "Fuck!"

As I'm reaching down to pop the hood to throw my jump starter on it, I remember I had the bluetooth OBD dongle plugged in. With the key still in the ON position, I pull the dongle off the OBDII port, and 1.5 seconds later, without me so much as touching the key, the truck fired up on its own.

So, gentle reminder about something we already know: WEIRD SHIT HAPPENS IF YOU LEAVE YOUR BLUETOOTH OBDII DONGLE PLUGGED IN ON THESE TRUCKS.

    And that concludes today's PSA.

Looking back thru my photos from when I last popped my random-ass knock sensor code, I plugged the OBDII dongle in about 35 days ago. So I guess it took about 35 days and probably 150 trips before it finally caused this.

    w/good reason

A tarantula hawk sting is one of the most painful insect stings in the world, and is second only to the sting of the South American bullet ant:
    • The pain of a tarantula hawk sting is rated as a 4.0 on the Schmidt sting pain index, created by entomologist Justin Schmidt. Schmidt described the pain as "instantaneous, electrifying, and totally debilitating". The pain usually only lasts about five minutes

I saw one of those in NM. Very scary in person. But apparently they're a bit like bumble bees - perfectly content to leave you alone if you leave them alone. I had never seen a wasp so big. Had to google it when I got back in cell service. I remember reading about the sting...
