    New guy here. You may have already discussed this but my question of the day is;
    Too buy or not too buy a 2022 Tundra on the engine recall list? If buy it and drive it however long until Toyota brings it in for the recalled engine replacement, I leave will a new engine and zero miles. Is that a bad thing? I know it’s probably not that simple. I currently drive 2008 Tundra with 470000 miles. Mostly just normal maintenance except for a recent alternator replacement. Suggestions anyone?

    Price?
    How does the recall affect future resale if needed?
    What happens if the engine fails before Toyota calls it in to have the new engine?
    Are they actually replacing the engine or are they repairing it?
    Are you buying it from a dealer or private? Warranty?

    I'd probably look at a 2021 and have the engine that you know can put at least 470,000 on the clock.. Unless you're just love the new body style...or just keep driving the paid off 2008 until Toyota has all the issues with the new Tundra ironed out.. just my .02..
    Tough decision.

    Here for the BBQ pics and recipes:hungry:. As for a turbo 3.4, I wouldn't have one if it was given to me. It would be sold and the proceeds would go to mods and maintenance on my current toys. That said, this is about what you like or need and your message doesn't really clarify, it just shows you might be thinking zero miles would be nice. Maybe explain your reasoning a bit more and others will be along soon to either argue against it or help you justify it further.
