I have had nothing in bed other then a bag of dog food. I need to pick up 30 50 lb bags of corn on Friday. I had a 1987 F150 and had 1500+ lbs of feed and 550 lbs of dude and it handled it fine. Just curious how the Tundra handles 1500 lbs. Other than feed it will be just me and 100 lbs gear

That's close to it's max payload of 1600-1700 lbs. I've never carried a load on the truck so not sure how it handles. I'm sure someone will chime in.

I know what max is. I had several hundred over max on F150 several times and it did fine. I wont be getting on IH just FM and county roads.

I think you be okay bro. I picked up 40 50lb bags of rice and she hauled it like a champ. Thats about 2000lb. No problems.

According to the dump scale I had 815 lbs of junk and there was roughly 500 lbs of human onboard and it drove this fine

Handled 1500 lbs of corn fine. Even drove the ranch roads loaded and filled a couple of feeders. I could feel the weight stopping and cornering

I had 24 2x6x16s and 5 6x6x8s (wet, treated) with a bed extender this weekend.

Of course, I didn't get a picture, but there was a pretty substantial squat. Probably won't try that again.

Loaded up my road bike this afternoon for a couple month trip to San Diego. Truck didn’t squat at all. Glad I got the 5.7 to haul the 16 pounds of carbon fiber.

You loaded 3300lbs not including yourself and passengers. You exceeded the payload rating 3 times over.

Payload is just a suggestion right?

Once when I had my diesel I had to tear out a marble floor the day before Thanksgiving and only had time for one dump run. I inadvertently loaded up 5500 lbs of marble tile in the bed of my 3/4 ton. Confused the hell out of lady operating the scale when I weighed out.

Might want to check the yellow sticker on your drivers door to confirm.

I enjoy your sense of humor....

Payload is not suggested, the owners manual and your VIN plate display what your truck is safely rated to handle. The VIN plate literally says DO NOT EXCEED XXXX lbs.

Overloading can be considered abuse, is illegal and can/will void warranties.

That was a joke. Purely sarcasm. I know what payload is and the implications of exceeding it. I was young and dumb when I overloaded the truck that I had back then.
