Stock 76mm throttle body that has been bored to 79mm. Bored by maxbore back in 2014. Asking $200 shipped.
    Money order or check

What did you gain using this in conjunction with your boost maker? If anything, sharper throttle response?

What gains does the extra 3mm give you in terms of airflow?

It was back in 2013 by Maxbore, rip. It did give it a quicker response with the bigger bore and lighter blade. At the time it was all we had. I'm not sure that the airflow gained that much. This combined with the SABM seemed to give some gains. Gains are to be had with supercharged and not NA.
But now we have the rcf 84mm and @snivilous 95mm TB

And I assume those bigger throttle body are used with those CAI such as prospeed? Which has a much larger ID tube going into the TB?

Those would require a tune, wouldn’t it?

A optimized tune would be required to see benefit while still N/A...

By the numbers, going from a 76mm bore to a 79 mm bore would be an 8% increase in airflow. If the the engine horsepower were determined solely on airflow, an 8% increase in airflow on a stock motor would be 30HP. Not saying the larger TB will make 30 HP, just that it would flow 8% more air.
