    Hello Fella's.

Just wanted to pop my skull in here and say "Hey." Friends call me " T-man" or " T. ", wife calls me asshole, and customers call me a great guy (little do they know). Personally I think I'm stuck somewhere between ahole and nice guy, but that's just my worthless opinion, as we all know how opinions are all wonderful and sweet, if they're your own;)

I'm a long time Toyota owner, as my wife and I bought our first in 1993 with our SR5 Hilux. Still have her, although she's a bit rough, living in the rust belt, has not been easy on it. Still runs and drives, but the starter is going bad, and the last time I changed it was over 15 years ago, my body doesn't work like that anymore, and it starts just fine... on a hill, in 2nd gear.

We're retiring our 03 sequoia, also bought new, as it's frame is cracked due to Toyota's great recall campaign coating it with black goo, and speeding up it's frame failure, or so I say.

Start by saying that I'm not offended by calling my kids Sex Trophies, although when I first read that I thought ( with my perverted mind ) that he was talking about his wife, or girlfriend. IF I traded in my wife after 36 years, I would hope to have a sex trophy, but not the rugrat, carpet crawling kind, but more of one that makes me feel 17 again, by doing really cool things with her mouth and tongue. :eek2:

(is it okay to say that here ? I have a habit of saying things that make 50% of the population feel "uncomfortable")

    I digress.o_O

So when the sequoia frame cracked, I started looking for a newer one. Never found one, and in all honesty, I've never really liked ours very much anyway. The seat positioning in my sequoia has given me backaches since we bought it new in 03, and I'm kind of glad to not be driving around in it anymore after nearly 280,000 on the ticker. Still runs great, but it's gonna have to go, I guess.

My 94 runs great too. Not getting rid of it until it's frame cracks too.

So we just bought our first Tundra. it's a 14, Crewmax limited with a leer cap. about 100K on the ticker. Not much done to it, other than some dammed alarm system put into it some forever ago. I hate alarms.

Super clean, needs some repairs (CV Boot, Rotors, pads, clean out the rats nest above the plastic fender wells). Still haven't put any miles on it, other than driving it home, simply because I didn't have the parts delivered yet, and I haven't had the time to tear the axle out and replace the grease and boots.

Yes, I have some things that need to be fixed, but in order to avoid the "Hey dude, use the search bar routine", I figured I'm just gonna say

"HI" (not the shitty blue state smoking dope high)

Of course, if I have any real questions, I sincerely can't find anything about (such as "replacing my plastic oil filter canister with summin bettr" and watching the guy talk about Toyota filters for 21 minutes, or "how big of a tire can I install", I'm gonna be sure to give a shout out.:p

In the meanwhile, I'm going to research why this truck has no fuel filter in line, and why my speakers magically stopped working in the back half of the truck, with no real volume, and be about my day. Duh ! I mean really ? Haven't driven it, and already the amp going bad.

    UGH...

Later Brohammers ! Keep on Tundran

Welcome..!! And congrats on the purchase of your newest Toyota. You’ll find lots of useful information and helpful members on this forum. I commend you on the ‘14 purchase !! Very nice looking rig !
Put a thousand or two into that thing to get maintenance and minor repairs up to date, and hopefully it’ll serve you well for the next 200,000 mi.
