I have a 12 tundra that is my work truck. I put a lot of miles on it and the assembly lens is pitted, dull and makes nighttime driving a bit toug.

What is a simple, high quality, durable replacement option? I do not want to drop $1000 and then have to redo wiring etc.

I don't mind halogen. I don't mind led, if it is plug and play. I just want a strong clear light for driving that isn't 6% of the value of the truck

You may be surprised with the improvement of a headlight cleaning kit. Ive used the Mequiars heavy duty kit a few times on different vehicles and it brought back the lenses to almost new clarity.

The cleaning kits are cheap and with a couple hours of your time can provide significant improvement.
Id try cleaning first before full replacement.
