I’m excited to join the Tundra fam here and really excited to build this new to me 2019 Tundra Crewmax into my family’s 2nd overland/adventure rig!

I currently own a couple 80 Series Land Cruisers, and the main one I’ve owned now for 16 years has been rock solid in taking me and my family anywhere and everywhere across the western US. Call it overlanding, off-roading, car camping, truck packing, whatever! I’ve always made it a goal to explore hard to reach areas, cool sites, amazing areas while being self sufficient and comfortable while doing it in a 4x4. My Cruiser is fully built out to tackle any terrain you can throw at it and I’ve driven it hard for the last 10 years taking it on 100s of off-road trips. DSC_2251.jpg DSC_0271.jpg DSC_0798.jpg The problem we have now is that my family of 4 is outgrowing the Cruiser. We need more space, more gear storage, more internal shelter and more comfort and ease when traveling. The Tundra was purchased specifically for this build.

Say hello to our Cement 2019 Limited Crewmax 4x4. IMG_1091.jpg Well maintained, low miles and way more than we were budgeting to spend, but no regrets!

Being a Limited in Cement, can anyone guess the first mod?

    MOD: Exterior Chrome Blackout!

I don’t hate chrome, I just think the flatter cement paint and it don’t mesh well. I was fully ready to grab some plastidip or satin rattle can and go to town, but quickly searched and found these overlays that just pop over all the trim. I never knew this existed, and quickly ordered a set from EBay and one from Taco Vinyl and a set of bumper shells from Ecoological.
