I don’t think the headliner was ever under that molding.

that front weather strip was garbage on mine also. I just went through a hurricane. It did not leak so I’m no concerned

Okay, that's a relief to hear. I did clip it back in with the 4 clips but it just looks different then when I removed it  I guess as long as the clips are holding it up, it won't be an issue.

when I installed my x3b about 3 weeks ago also noticed the headliner wasn't really under the weather stripping. same with the front rubber strip on the light, was off straight out of the box. whatever morimoto used didn't seem to adhere well, just put it back on with some super glue. been through some rains and 2 washes, so far no leaks.

Awesome! Glad I'm not the only one. I also super glued it back on but it still seemed a little lose. Overall, I'm happy with the look of it. Looks way better.

My son went out with my grandson near Ray Roberts lake (North Texas) yesterday and also reported no birds. My uncle has a ranch north of Abilene, and it's plagued with them. But it's bow season now, so no dove hunting...

No, but now I know I can get the black trim from a 4Runner for my Tundra from Toyota parts online - rather than spray painting them like a lot of people do!

    Here. There. Everywhere.
    Vehicle:
2021 SR5 TRD Off Road - Cavalry Blue
    Bilstein 5100s
Did some maintenance plus an upgrade.

Maintenance: Full driveline service to change fluids - front & rear diffs, transfer case, and drain & fill on the trans. Also did an oil change. Truck as 30k on it now and want to get in a good cycle of doing the full driveline every 30k. I also took off my catalytic converter shield. I realized that it's roasting my transmission and likely a contributing factor to high trans temps. Going to monitor trans temps with it off for a while to see how much of a difference it makes.

Upgrade: I pulled the OEM yellow Bilsteins off and installed 5100s on all four corners. Set the fronts to the middle setting for ~1.5" of lift. I didn't want too much preload. So far, I'm extremely happy with the middle setting. Raised the front while maintaining a great ride. I might go to the top notch one day, but I know I'll need to slap in a 1" block in the back to keep it level if I go that high. My pre & post measurements are below for anyone who's curious. Obviously, the rear did not change since I only swapped the shocks. In my measurements, I did not see the traditional "Tundra lean" for the 2nd Gen that others report. My DS & PS measurements were the same. All measurements are from center of the hub to the bottom of the fender, as close as I could get it.

    Pre-Measurements:
    • Driver Front & Rear: 22" / 24"
    • Passenger Front & Rear: 22" / 24"
    Post-Measurements:
    • Driver Front & Rear: 23.5" / 24"
    • Passenger Front & Rear: 23.5" / 24"

Dropped it off this morning and had the coil overs installed today.
I ordered them from Hotshot Offroad and they shipped them the same day! Wish I would have bought the spacers and rear shocks from them, but I already had them in the garage.
The local shop only charged me a couple hours to do the install for the front. That was too good of a deal to pass up. I installed the rear shocks and 1" spacer a couple of weeks ago.
That was a pretty straight forward install.

FYI - I received this switch today and installed. It's straight from China (2 week delivery), but worked 100% correct. Word of advice, order the "white" color vs "blue" (at least if you have a 2021 Tundra (or a year in the same 2.5 Gen). I ordered blue and it's off colored compared to the other switches, which are definitely closer to white. Oh well, you can't tell in the day and it's not that bad at night lol.

Got my wifes oil changed and state inspection today at the GMC dealer. Saw a nice 2nd gen, being traded for a very nice 2.5 gen. I thought to myself "what a smart guy" :amen:

Up close it looked rough since it was my first try at vinyl wrapping. Also I’m going back and forth on the idea of selling this thing so I’m slowly going back to the stock look

That's the reason for 80% of mods I'd guess. I'm guilty myself.
