I didn't get pictures of each obstacle, so this is going to be more of an overview with a bunch of random pictures, but it should still give you a rough idea of the trail. For truck setup, I'd recommend sliders, skid plates, 2-3" lift, 33+" tires, and a high clearance rear bumper wouldn't hurt. As with most trails in the area, you can really make it as hard as you want to with the optional lines, but there's plenty of mellower bypasses to be had.

Overall, this is a super fun out and back trail in the greater Woodland Park/Florissant area. Expect some killer views, steep wheelin, and good times down by the river. We plan on making this area a regular destination for our family days, there's nothing quite like getting to have lunch and relax by a river in the mountains. There are two main named obstacles, the V-Notch and Chicken Scratch Rock. The V-Notch looks way more intimidating that it ends up being, I didn't get any pictures of it, but there's plenty of YouTube videos out there that show it pretty well. Chicken Scratch Rock isn't particularly difficult, but it does require some commitment. The long wheelbases of our trucks makes entering the obstacle interesting because of the break-over, but that same wheelbase makes everything way more stable once you're on the rock, tune the volume up on my video, you'll hear some major rock dragging. Enjoy the pictures!

Gotta toss in the goofy dog picture of course

And can't forget the bumper dragging video

Slider and bumper damage report (not all from this trail, but definitely got a few good ones). Admittedly I took all of the spicy and optional lines (walked them), but there's bypasses to the major obstacles that could probably mitigate most of the trail rash.
