IMG_4229.jpg IMG_4502.jpg I just purchased in August of 2024 a 40,000 mile 2015 1794 in Mesquite Brown Tundra with no door dings and no scratches with lots of dealer options that has never been on a dirt road or ever driven in the rain and always garaged. No one‘s ever sat in the backseat or the passenger seat. The owner only drove it on the weekends because he had a company vehicle. It looks like it’s never even been on a trip because the windshield is not pitted with the original glass. The original owner recently traded it in on a new land cruiser. I picked it up for 36,000 bucks at my dealership where I have bought a half a dozen Toyotas. All the vehicles upgrades were done at my dealership through my service advisor and her master tech and I have all the history on the vehicle, including any and all paperwork from the original owner including the original window sticker. The oil was changed every 5000 miles. In my bio of the vehicle I forgot to add that it has TRD front and rear anti sway bars and a bed extender. The vehicle is almost too nice because my wife does not want me to use it as a truck. I originally wanted a double cab four-wheel-drive limited, but this truck was so nice, clean and unmolested that I couldn’t pass it up. I have read that they only made 1500 1794s a year. I figured there are five different color combinations so I suppose about 300 of these a year were made. My friend needed a car so I gave him my 4WD Chevy suburban. We bought it new in 2000 and it gave us no major problems for 24 years. I was looking for a truck to replace the ole Suburban with to pick up items at Home Depot with and to haul wood and rocks on my property. I can probably get away with hauling some firewood, but I don’t think my wife is gonna let me put any rocks in the back.

I’m not very good at social media so it was a challenge just to upload these pictures. I’m definitely old and crusty, but I love my truck. I feel like a Baller driving this thing. The sticker price was right at $50,000 my buddy bought a 2021 1794 and he paid 65 grand for his. New cars are so expensive I could have just about bought two of these for the price of one brand new 1794, in 2024

Only one small blemish on the seat is the only thing wrong with the interior. I don’t know why I’m getting double and triple photographs so I’ll quit while I’m ahead.

Nice truck! Lose the wheels and fender flairs, in my opinion. Congrats.

As it turns out those BBS wheels were only offered one year from the southeastern Toyota distributor ship. I didn’t think I liked them, but I live in a town where the BBS wheels are made and I called them and they gave me the history on the wheels so I ordered an extra wheel for a spare. I didn’t know it but the fender flares are a dealer option. The wheels look all right to me but the original 1794 wheels are duds in my opinion and I’m not much on aftermarket stuff but since the wheels were standard on the XP tundras for one year exclusive to the southeastern Toyota distributorship and then became a dealer option. I figured I keep the wheels.
In my opinion, it probably would look better without the fender flares, but I’m not gonna take them off. I’m not crazy about the Michelin Street tires and I will put some triple peak ice and snow rated one size up tires on it when the Michelins wear out. I personally like some of the other tundra style wheels better than the BBS wheels. Thank you for the the input.
