My truck failed back in march. 2 months to fix.
Failed back in June. 13+ weeks late I got it back yesterday. Went to drive today and died again. Same errors every time.

sorry it’s so dirty… was going to clean it today but oh well. It’ll be dirty again when they’re done.

Oh man. Three times. Sorry to hear of this disaster. Any chance at a Lemon Law in CAN? They need to take that one back.

I had something like this right after i purchased my truck (2024 1794) and it took them a while but it turned out it, one of the pins on a connector that ran to the hybrid system was bad and they replaced the harness and connector and it has been fixed ever since.

I know they have been checking the harness. Haven’t found anything. Toyota Canada told them to use some tool that listens to the electricity or something. lol. I don’t know if my dealer did it..

So. After 13+ weeks my truck was fixed! Brought it home, the next day all the same errors popped back up - :censored::frusty:

towed back to the dealer. Two days later they tell me they figured it out. The jumper post in the fuse box was loose. No issues yet after a few days. My buddy who has an older Prius said he’d have the same issue sometimes.

Could it be rodent damage? Had that happen once and every freaking bell and whistle went off. Car wouldn't drive normal - was in "limp home" mode.

OP, sorry to hear about your situation and hate to be in your shoes (love your build though). Too bad there's no Lemon law in CA.

Did the dealer tell you what they actually FIXED the 2 previous times?
