Grille Badge

I put on this gloss black toyota grille badge on my Platinum. I thought it would look better, but I'm not sure. I think I like the chrome one better. Any thoughts?

 

This just seems to highlight the emblem…the stock one was understated enough given the whole chrome look.

I am not a chrome fan at all but
As you asked I think this just adds to the “more chrome/cheome-ish” look

Well, I want to take it off, but that two sided tape has it locked on pretty tight. Do you think a heat gun could get it to come off?

One more opinion here-I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I think it's the color of the truck. I have a black one on mine but I have a magnetic gray and it seems to blend better even though the grilles are the same.

definitely chrome hole
