I enjoyed my 23 Tundra TRD Pro. The only issues were the alignment and cracked seat panel. I did enjoy the Tundra-but really was not using it to full potential.

Owned the Tundra for 22 months/20,000 miles. Monday morning was in local dealer to pick-up Wiper inserts for wife’s Rav4. The salesperson approached me and asked if interested in selling. Long story short. Traded in for a 24/25 Taco-Trail hunter and with money back in my pocket.

So far around town MPG 19-20 range. The Turbo 2.4 is impressive for power. Haven’t really pushed it yet due to the break-in period but has more than enough power. One thing that’s got to go is the OEM Goodyear tires. Raining all day and wet traction is terrible. Overall, the quality of the overall build is tight, and everything fitted well and works.

Best of luck to everyone, will be lurking in the background. Enjoyed the forum and learned a lot from the other members

Heck, I'd probably do similar, but Toyota doesn't make any or many Tacomas with 6' bed in the trims I want. Just like shopping for Tundra with 6.5' beds early on and still somewhat today. LOL. The TH can get a 6' bed but I don't want that lifted version since I will not be going off road in any serious way.

Congrats on Taco. Test drove a couple 4th gen's and liked them.

See you also own a Roush. Very fun cars.

The Roush for sure is fun and can get in trouble really quick with it. Roush 4.jpg

I’ve been in a Silver TrailHunter for 3600 miles and it’s been great.

I wish the 5.0 didn’t sound like a wet fart with exhaust…I know the old 2v 4.6 was anemic but it sounded amazing when you open it up.

The 2024 Tacomas look great and I hope you enjoy yours. If you enjoyed this site and want to stay engaged with the community, you should also consider joining Tacomaworld.com. It's basically the sister site to Tundras.com and there is a lot of overlap between the people there and here.

Nice truck...check your VIN against the TSB for failed transmissions, you should be able to find it on the other tacoma forums.
