    pointless video/oil sample, honestly. 1k mile change wont tell you much, if anything...too new to deduce anything. Even a 2-3k mile change will show wear metals. Appreciate his attention to the platform though.

    I liked that as well. I asked my Toyota dealer yesterday if they could do that and he said no. I will order the card key anyway, hopefully I will find someone to do the programming.

    I guess you missed the part where he describes that oil analysis is all about recognizing trends in your numbers, you have to establish a baseline somewhere, he choose to establish his baseline at 1K, which is also a good opportunity to get a lot of the assembly lubes out of the system.
