I majorly fucked up at a gas station and have to replace my driver door and fender. I found one at a scrap yard and am picking them up Friday. I know I’ll need to swap the lock on the door, how hard will this be? And what else will it entail? Will I need to do stuff with the window? Or will the new door just plug in and it’ll work? I’ve already tried looking this up on YouTube and forums, thanks for any advice.

As long as the attach point on the vehicle weren't bent. It will just be a lot of time fishing the harnesses and everything out of the old door and then fishing everything to the new door. Also don't know the condition of your door verse the new door. If window tint is different, you could switch the glass. You will already have the door skin off and everything exposed.

Here's mine when tow mirrors were being installed and wired. You can see all the harnesses that are in the door. Might be able to just unseat the grommet from the old door and then seat it in the new door to keep yourself from fishing things back and forth thru the grommet. I recommend taking lots of pictures of how everything is routed and attached before you remove all the wires.
