Just installed new steel bumper that has openings in the corners for fog lights, so I ordered BD Squadron sports for fog light replacement. Installing not an issue. Is there a common mod being used to protect the backside of the lights/wiring from debris and rocks getting kicked up?

I did save the plastic piece and I suppose I could add a couple holes and use a heat gun to mold it, but was just wondering if there's a more common/easier way to provide protection to the back of the fog lights.

Bumper is a Westin Pro Mod. Nothing special. It was only $350 (new is $1100) so hard to pass up, especially when your OEM was bent from a hit and run in a parking lot...

Not sure how that on compare to CBI bumper. I put screws thru fender liner to hold the mini front mudflap things on and used ziptie to pull them angled forward when I put on a CBI bumper. There is a metal strip on original bumper liner that the mini flap screwed to before. Just pull it off and relocate that bar and jab some holesas needed.

Thank you. Yeah, this is what I assumed most are doing. Why recreate something if you can just reuse the OEM plastic. Okay, looks like I'll be modding this for both sides, once I have the lights installed. Thank you again.
