Why would it come with a tool kit? Does Ford expect it to break down?

I don't actually know what the mustangs sound like. I've not shopped muscle for several years, and never looked at anything supercharged.

Is this your car?! Same flag on the rear. Or is that part of the Roush treatment?

Looks like the same cup in the cupholder too!

What about the serial number he reads in the video? It matches the one that you posted pics of. I'm confused.

Shit it could be. I'll ask Randy if he tried to sell it down in Texas. That would be hilarious.

He had a hell of a time selling the car, as most of these owners are finding out. They pay some pretty steep costs. This one was 84k and some change in 2021. He tried all the way down to 53K without luck. The owner lowered it down to 51k when I snagged it up.

Back in 2020-22 you could order a Shelby GT500 for 87k. Now those are a completely different beast. I've driven both and I would not want to live with these cars all the time. Racing/track days/Friday night drags would be bad ass. Cruising with the wife or going on a trip? Not a chance.

At 51k and under 5k miles...done. Would I pay 60-70k what most are asking? Hell no. This is nuts.

So I checked on the tool kit. The only real things inside that are useful is the tire pressure gauge, tread depth gauge, and flashlight. That kit adds 9 lbs.
    IMG_5577.jpg

There is a compressor under the carpet that could air the tires up. Kinda heavy. This is heavier than the tool kit.

Car has front hood struts. Why keep the hood prop rod?
    IMG_5579.jpg

These engine covered might have to go as well. You can check the oil, but not as easy. There's probably another 3-4 lbs.

You pulling the back seats out and disconnecting the AC too? :boink:

I get pulling most of that, but I'd keep the engine covers if they are easier to clean than whatever they cover.
