Auto registration question for the Utah folks.

    Hey there, both of my wife’s parents died in July and they left their car for my wife. I have been looking for proof of registration; both in the car and in their files, but I have not been able to find anything. We need to transport/drive the car from Utah to Texas, but I am hesitant to move the car without proof of registration. So, in Utah, are you required to have physical proof of registration with the vehicle? The license plate has tags that are good through December of 2024.
