So I was under my truck the other day and noticed this plug. This is at the rear of the truck, close to the bumper, right rear corner area. I have no idea what this plug is for. 2012 Crewmax 4x4

    Bueller?

Did you buy the Tundra used?

Could be a 3rd brake light hook up for a cap.

Sonar or parking sensors. Most trucks have the body harness pre wired for it.

If you had the sensors in your rear bumper they would be plugged in here.

Don't get too excited, the other side is generally a dead end connected to nothing. Its not a simply plug and play to add parking sensors.
