I’m interested in my first truck ever and eyeing a ‘21 TRD pro.

it has about 40k miles, one owner, all records, seems clean from the listing.

I’m worried about a 6” lift (readylift) on ridge grappler LT295/70R18 tires.

I’m 6’8” and like the idea of stepping up into a truck . Does that substantially change the was the truck performs? Is stock suspension sufficient?

How much is this truck actually worth in Lunar Rock? Colorado truck.

Thanks! I look forward to going down this rabbit hole with you all!

Why are you worried about the lift? Guys run hundreds of thousands of miles with lifts on these trucks.

A 6" lift likely means they chopped a frame crossmember to fit it. Hard pass.

More interested in how the suspension performs and what to look for on a test drive.

Well if that’s the case. Hard pass as well.

not sure if this is the kit that’s installed, but their website claims the following and doesn’t confirm or deny cutting the frame:

TRD Pro Plus 6! ReadyLIFT 6" Complete Lift Kit for 2015-2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Trucks! ReadyLIFT delivers a great new Pro Plus 6 lift kit that will provide 6" of front lift to TRD Pro Tundra trucks that come factory with 2" of front lift. That equals the same height as our 8" lift kit on a standard Tundra. And even better, this kit allows you to retain use of the factory Bilstein/Fox coil-overs and reservoir rear shocks! That's right, this great system retains use of ALL of the factory TRD Pro suspension components. Note: This system will only work with factory 20" wheels - will not work with some factory 18" wheels. Aftermarket wheels okay with correct offset. Note: For use only on 2015-2021 Tundra TRD Pro w/ Bilstein/Fox coilover shocks. Note: Will not work with the TRD rear swar bar option. Note: Cannot use the factory front skid plate.

Well they are idiots then. That bold part.... the Pro only came on 18" wheels. 18s are better for off road and that is what the Pro is pitched as from toyota.

This is from a vendor that sells it.

@OrangeCrush5280 another thing to keep in mind is that if the truck has larger than stock tires, then it also has more miles than the odometer shows. I personally would not buy a modded truck. Especially not a Pro.
