Roof Rack/Basket options for a Doublecab

I have installed the Spider rack on my truck - I can confirm you have to drill. The wedge option is not available for our trucks (at least wasn't as of last year).

 

idk man everywhere I look people are talking about having too drop the headliner and seal with marine grade sealant when they install this rack.

did they drop a wedge version for the double cab 1st gens?

 

Bringing this thread back from the Dead, I have an mid/high rise ARE MX topper on my 1st gen AC that has rails on it. I couldn't decide if the rails were Thule or Yakima but I am leaning Yakima. Has anyone been able to successfully pair bars on the cab roof to bars on the mid rise topper and have a level surface? I want my canoe to sit level and not tetter-totter on the middle bar. I have a pro-deal on Thule and Yakima and am just trying to carry canoes/kayaks, and whatever else.

 

I have a front runner rack/ tray that I bought used. I cut it down to fit on my shell and I use the rack pad set and stratchit shorties to carry surfboards. Front runner has 5-6 different set ups for kayaks that you may be able modify to work on thule or yakima bars?
