2016 Tundra 4x4 Im going to be installing Firestone Ride Rite air bags on the rear of my truck mainly to level out my ride when i have a load in the bed or when towing, and am considering also using air bag cradles and wanted to get some opinions.

    advantages?
    Disadvantages?

Question: If my truck was on a lift (like to get a brake job,) and the rear suspension is hanging, will this stretch (or stress) air bags if they are installed directly to the top of the leafspring without cradles?

I've had cradles on mine for over a year with no issues. I have a Toytec boss lift with an add a leaf. Put airbags on for hauling a camper and the truck rides like a dream with a load better than empty. I figure if I ever do flex the suspension more because of the lift the cradles will save the bags from stretching.

I have ride rite bags on my truck. Per the manual, when you lift the truck where the wheels are off the ground you need to deflate to 0psi.

I didn't want to deal with remembering so I installed Daystar cradles.

    thanks for the replies.
question, with the air bags recommended to have at least 5lbs in them (some people say this will raise the rear appx 1/2") and adding the thickness of the cradle (some people say the cradle adds 3/4"?)
If I go with both ride rite air bags and cradles Is it true that I can expect a rear ride height change of appx 1.25" - 1.5" with 5lbs of psi ?

I do have a little squat in the back now with the 38gal fuel tank , Leer shell, bed liner and plywood on floor, and always have a 30lbs milk crate with tow straps, tie downs and emergency supplies back there as well.
