So I just became a wholesale club member and 6 qts of Mobil Synthetic 0w20 is $10 cheaper than Mobil 1 Synthetic 0w20. I change the oil every 5-6k miles.

Cheap move or non factor? Mostly highway and residential driving. Few hundred 4wd/miles a year in snow. No towing...
    2019 TRD pro w 86k miles

    Thoughts?

Changing it is the most important factor. Personally use ultra plat Pennzoil 5w-30. 5k OCI

Run whatever you want, it really doesn’t matter. Just change it occasionally and you’re good to go.

I just ordered a four pack of 5-qt jugs of Kirkland 5-30 synthetic for $64. That equates to $3.20/ quart. With a $6 Toyota filter from Amazon, I’m $33.20 for an oil change that takes me about 20 minutes with one beer break.

Truck is a 2018 and has 166,500 miles with lots of towing. 5K OCI with no issues at all. Change your oil regularly and enjoy a very long engine life.
