Has the dealer given you crap about having aftermarket skids? More so when going in for service? I’m about to install my victory 4x4 front skid. Thanks.

They can’t say much about it, considering the TRD skid has to be completely removed just to change the oil. Most of the aftermarket skids have a small panel to access the oil filter so it’s much easier to work with vs the TRD skid.

If your truck has the front active spoiler, make sure to lower it when installing the skid plate.
Raise and hold the wiper stalk for about two seconds after you shut the truck off.
    That should lower it.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
Check out Talons Garage. I purchased a Catalytic Converter cover and a skid plate which comes with an oil drain hole and filter access plate.

Thanks. I removed the spoiler at 1700 miles. The motor is plugged in as well.

The victory 4x4 aluminum skid is pretty stout.

I have the Talons Garage Skids and there has never been an issue at the dealer. I am now changing my own oil and highly recommend a Fumoto valve and hose. Makes the changes easy and clean.

That will be in my future plans. Gotta get past 85K first, lol.

I had the CBI with oil door on my ‘12 and any/every place still charged a fairly large fee due to the extra hassle.
I just bought a fumoto for my ‘24 but in fairness to them I won’t put it on until after the two free changes.

Only issue I’ve had is the dealer over torquing it to the point that I can’t take it off to perform my own oil change
