Hey guys. I noticed my reservoir was low a few days ago and filled it up. Few days later it was completely down again. Brought it to a shop and they pressure tested it. After they pressure tested it they recommended replacing the upper and lower radiator hoses based on where it failed and then a retest to see if that fixed the issue.

They wanted $960, so I just took it home and replaced the hoses myself. Now I'm seeing a leak pretty much directly in the center just below the the bottom most pulley with the serpentine belt.

The photo shows below the bottom pulley. I can see coolant coming from a gap there on the underside. What's the likely issue? Are there any good guides to follow for 2nd gen? Thanks a ton!

I would say so, something is leaking pretty bad.

If you haven't ever replaced the radiator on the 2008 it's likely time. Water pump failure or not, replace it all - radiator, cap, hoses, thermostat. My 2008 5.7 developed a small radiator leak after 10 years. At first, I thought it was just the cap but after replacing it a couple of times a closer look showed it was a leak in the radiator.

After a lot of work I replaced the water pump (did timing belt too since I was there) and the leak stopped. Thanks for the help guys.
