Tundra Tailgate Letters?

Hey everyone!
I am looking at getting domed letter inserts for the tailgate TUNDRA letters of my 24 magnetic gray 1794 edition. I'm considering getting the letters in black with a red outline from tufskinz. Has anyone on here got some like that on theirs so I could see what they look like before I pull the trigger?

I don't have the ones you are looking for but do have the doomed carbon fiber ones - fit fine and look great. Took a while to get but worth the wait. GL.

I have the TRD PRO black letters. I feel like the letters should of came outlined from the factory. To me it looks more finished. Everyone has different styles, and I'm not usually an emblem or decal person cause I feel it's tacky in most applications. In this case oddly, I do find it still maintains a clean and complete look.

Personally I wouldn't get 2 colors. Stick with black or a single color to make it less busy looking.

 

I bought the second cheapest ($19) letters from Amazon.
In less than a month the top of the letter “R” pulled away from the bed. Amazon offered to refund but only if I removed and returned all the letters. I only need the “R” replaced but no way to contact the seller.
So, not feeling like peeling all the good letters off, I just dripped some E6000 adhesive behind the ‘R’ to close the gap.
Moral of the story: you get what you pay for!

 

That's very fair. I had a 23 tundra before trading in for my 24 and my friend had bought me a set of chrome letter inserts for the tailgate letters and before I traded it in I could see the edges raising a bit. That's why I'm definitely going with tufskinz this time!

 

Update:
I had ordered some tufskinz trd inserts for the front grill as well as the trd stripes and I am incredibly happy with the product. I definitely think I'm going with them for the tailgate letters.

 

Tufskinz make a good product.
I like the idea of the black with red outline. I would like to see it when you get it.
My truck has the XP package (SE Toyota exclusive) that came with the black raised letters already installed, otherwise I would have done the red outline.
