Good afternoon! Does anyone have experience with power modules in their GEN IIIs? Specifically, the AFE Scorcher Blue Power Module and/or the Stillen TruControl Inline Power Module. I am considering these but want to know if anyone can provide observed results. Thanks! R/ M

I don't but I do know a lot of people have the JB4 tuner and seem to have great results. There should be some threads here on the JB4.

JB4 is a more robust unit...would go with that instead. Had mine for 2yrs now, no issues at all and their customer support is the best.

JB4 & Stillen are both long term players in the market...I have the tru-control by Stillen I'll be installing next week after some baseline pull with stock and TRD filters with the Draggy box and app

Okay, so Jettster, as I look at the three modules (AFE, Stillen, JB4), it seems that the JB4 is the only one that requires plugging into the OBD port. Is this correct? Also, it have been a few days, have you had a chance to install and observe the Stillen? Again, thanks to all!!!

We are going to have 3 days of consistent good weather starting tomorrow so this is the week...baselines Trd vs oem paper, then on to the Tru-Control, followed by exhaust, followed by intakes...taking the day off in the garage ha played around with a 1997 4Runner 5 speed over the weekend...I'll play around with the draggy later today hopefully.

Good afternoon Jettster. Did you have a chance to get the Tru-Control installed?

Yes sir I have a post here all about it...forget about intakes and exhaust, until you have a tune they will have minimal benefit maybe 10hp each...map 7 is probably 80 rwhp gain and proven with timed runs on dragy.
Launches become traction limited at map 5 of 7and Tow Haul provides the quickest runs...figure 1 lb of boost extra per map #, there is even a 0 for stock tune so you can run 87...all mine are on 93 Vpower.
