2010 5.7 172,200k miles. I’ve had the truck for about eight months and don’t know when the trans fluid was done so I wanna do it ASAP. I’m reading a lot of stuff on which type of trans fluid to use. Anyone have any real life experiences and suggestions? Thanks.

I’ve used Valvoline Max Life ATF in the Red bottle in my Taco, 4Runner, and Tundra with excellent results. Other folks have used Amsoil and been satisfied. You can always default to the OEM Toyota WS if you don’t feel comfortable using other brands.
