Just picked up a 2015 Crewmax with what appears to be the Pro Comp 4" spacer lift kit on it. I am looking to remove this to make room for some bilstien 6112 / 5160's and some different wheels and tires. Has anyone ever removed one of these kits? Does anyone know if I need to source any OEM parts besides spindles?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Pictured is my new Tundra with my old Tundra that I sold to my buddy a few years ago behind it.

Honestly, the best place to start would be to take a TON of pictures of what your current suspension situation is. I am unaware of a Pro Comp 4" lift (that doesn't mean that there wasn't one at some time though). If it's all at the spacer then your spindles and such should be stock, but your poor UCAs would be folded badly. Shoot some pics inside of the wheel well, at the suspension from the front, etc as well as a bunch of pics of the rear suspension situation. Where the leaf packs meet the axle, how the rear shocks are situated, etc etc. I'll be able to point you in the right direction no sweat.

Subframe is intact, just remove everything Procomp and start over. Front coilover assembly spacers (top and spring), subframe bracket and rear spring blocks and spindle/knuckles. You will need to source some OE spindles though.

Ha I forgot about that kit. That poor, poor front shock with the classic stacked spacers.

Well... The good news is that it's somewhat easy to reverse since the stock crossmember is still present. You're going to need a set of stock knuckles and that's really it for OEM stuff. You'll need to pull the PC crossmember as well as driveline, bumpstop, swaybar, etc spacers. I'm pretty sure that these kits come with some brake line brackets as well. Whether they reuse OEM brackets and add to them or replace them altogether I can't recall.

For the rear, just pull their AAL, block, and shocks and the rear end is reset (again, brake lines may have been moved around so double check that).
