Are there any? Anyone running a set of M/T's that do well on wet roads? I have friends that hate driving there KM3's in the rain due to poor traction.

    Looking to upgrade my AT's

They make some pretty aggressive ATs these days. But every tire has a compromise. If you need mud, you gotta give up some street. But you can get a tire that’s pretty OK at everything, just not great at the extremes.

I agree. I have been looking into the "hybrid" style like the Toyo RT trails. Was curious about the M/T's since my research didn't come up with much other than yes they have sipes.

Also a 3 ply sidewall for me is important. Where I go on trails they are VERY rocky and quite sharp. My sidewalls on my current AT's are in very rough condition after 1 trip.

I know they make some 3 ply sidewall ATs. Just looking for a bit more in the off road category.

With the large and separated lugs of a mud tire any deep siping would make it prone to chunking. They'll flex too much and risk pulling the lug apart or potentially allow it to separate from the carcass of the tire.

I believe the Baja boss AT’s run with their MT sidewall and the AT’s are pretty aggressive.

I have the Baja boss MT’s and they do amazing in all weather. Snow, freezing rain, rainy season here in the pnw etc. I often say this but I won’t run another tire on my rig

My Kenda R/Ts have full depth sipes. They’re great in all weather, this is the 2nd set I’ve had of them just in a different size. This video shows the siping depth about a minute in. They also have beefy sidewalls. Worth checking out especially since they’re a little cheaper than some other brand names. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2ANLzbgKCh4&pp=ygUQa2VuZGEga2xldmVyIHJ0IA==

These have come up a time or two. Seem to be pretty decent tire. Also $1400 for a set of 5! Can't beat that.
