Bleeding brakes

    The rears only auto adjust themselves when you drive in reverse and step on the brakes hard.

    I'm sorry, are you speaking about 1st gens or another generation? You're in the 2000-2006 Tundra forum, so looking to clarify.

    The 1st gens have an auto adjuster that's linked to the parking brake. Would hate for someone witha 1st gen to pop in here who doesn't know any better read and misconstrue your comment.

    It's important to keep an eye on what subforum you're in.

    99 percent of all Toyotas that Have Any kind of Drum system in the rear auto Adjust when driving in reverse and Then hitting the brakes. The question and Information that I responded to wasn't very specific from what I could see on the auto Adjust question

    I replied to th3 Correct forum I know what forum I'm in and the parking brake is Manualy adjusted by hand the Rear Drive Brakes have the auto adjustability when it comes to 1st gen Tundras
