Go with JB4. Their piggyback setups have been around for ages and are tried and true. Nothing against stillen, but they are nowhere near what a JB4 has to offer. I've ran mine for over two years now and it's been awesome. Terry (Owner) and his crew have been top notch when it comes to customer service. Spend the extra cash and get the JB4

I have the Stillen it works great and was easy to set up. I measured 0-60 stock and with each of 7 maps using Dragy. Each adds more boost estimated 1 lb per map so 7 adds 7 lbs of boost. I run Shell V Power 93 only. 2 connectors only plug and play, app on you phone if you want. Truck is faster with each progressive map and 5 is where she gets strong and stops gaining 0-60 due to excessive wheel spin. Where the truck really shines on 5 up is rolling on anytime...pulls really hard! Either one is 10x the performance improvement than intakes or exhaust especially when wrenching is considered and $...plus stealth, no difference in sound. Never had JB4 but that is their main focus, piggyback ecu so must be good, I just plan on using all Stillen.

JB4 for the win. Been around 10 plus years, for various platforms. Ran it back. In the days on my Bimmers. JB4 all the way. Well made product!

with or without traction control on 5 and up you just can't launch cleanly. Best runs achieved in Tow Haul, not Sport or TH+. Our open diff doesn't help...so once you are rolling 30 mph the truck moves out way better and gets to the ton in a hurry...probably equal to a stock hybrid they are monsters stock 0-60 @ 5.8 sec then we start to catch up due to torque limiting on hybrid...anyway all fun and games the power war has already passed us and was never Toyota's game...except the mk4 Supra

It's awesome. Can datalog, clear codes, read live PIDs, modify maps or create your own.

You won't get better bang for your buck than with a JB4. Power increase is awesome and spinning the tires from a roll is fun. Sub 6 second 0-60 in a big ol truck is something else and just for a few hundred bucks.

Compare features and you'll see how the JB4 just packs a lot more than AFE or Stillen. They all raise boost about the same amount, so increases HP will be very close among them all because there's no tune changes, just upping boost.

And remember that higher psi doesn't mean more hp. It does mean higher heat and possibly lower air density, which is what you dont want. You don't want more hot air, you want more cool/dense air. So a tuner might get you ONE high hp pull and then heat soak the turbo and intercooler and will be garbage after that.

Eddie makes some good points and yes at some point a cold air intake will benefit and cool dry days will get max performance in a boosted engine even more than n/a. I'll be installing the exhaust, testing, then intakes, re-test. It's very difficult to get clean pulls with our trucks on a dyno due to trans wanting to shift...but real world numbers will tell the tale. Breather mods like cold air intake and freer flowing exhaust should make more of a difference with the piggyback cranked up as you are pushing more boost and could be getting a little more restriction and heat. I personally am not going to be launching my truck in 4wd high as we don't have a center differential and if anything breaks you are definitely on your own. Actually I'm done launching it already...just rolling on is the best with the 10 speed.

Soon there will be a chill'n Stillen giving birth to a JB5 after doing burnouts in the outdoor movie theater lot. No way I'm letting my kids go to the drive-in!

    Too many mods to come
I’ve got a buddy with the JB4 and its runs very well. Not as well as a supercharged tundra but it’s very quick. No issues he enjoys it

Can’t comment on the tuners but just wanted to say that if the 3rd gen drivetrain components are of equal strength to the 2nd gen, you can launch them all day in 4x4 to get better dragy data. I know of one truck in particular that probably has 100+ 1/4 mile runs down the drag strip in 4x4. Just make sure it’s fully engaged first.
