Any experience with the built in 1 Touch Up & Down for window controls?

The main driver switch has only auto-down on the driver window, the remaining 3 switches are all manual. My understanding is this is the same setup as the SR5.

yup! just installed this morning. Loving it so far. I just hope it lasts as long as OEM.

 

My OEM switch has been in the center console for 26 months…have yet to need it

 

finally ordered one, got just the driver side master in blue, don't know what the hell I've been waiting on, hahaha

Installed the orange this weekend. Hope they hold up, keeping the old swtiches just in case.

The small ones were tough to fully snap into place, but easy swap otherwise.

How can you tell if they are shipping from US Stock?

 

TBH, I am assuming its all in China and will be coming over on a ship or plane. Maybe if you wait until a chat guy was available or emailed? To me, this isn't a "rush" so I didn't worry too much. Sounds like they can take a bit based on some of the comments in this thread.

Interesting considering they clearly show this will not work with the Limited. Does your PRO have (2) auto switches from factory?

Nope, just one. I think it's the exact same setup as the SR5. I did see a guy on YouTube however, install this set on his limited with a minimal modification
I forget exactly what he did though.

Edit: Also, the set I bought from Car Trim Home shipped from SoCal. I'm sure they are made in China, though.

 

Well two years and two months (July 2024) after this post, the switch began to have an issue.
The passenger side front would not activate on the first press of the switch. About a week later, the same happened to the rear. Still worked, but not 100%.

Searched my email for my sale invoice, sent an email explaining the issue and acknowledging that I am not eligible and/or asking to be covered under warranty but simply to let them know of an issue they can address in future R & D.

Next day, receive an email asking for a PayPal account so they can bill me for shipping ($10) and they will send out a replacement!

Done and done. Send payment with follow up email stating “backlit color WHITE”

Recieve replacement a week or so later, install, works perfect! Next day, drive the truck at night.. RED BACKLIGHTS!

At this point, I was just happy to have a replacement switch for the cost of shipping. Figured I would open it up and paint over the LEDs.
However, I felt obligated to email the company incase there was a labeling issue in their system and to keep them from having additional issues potentially.

Next day, email received.. thanking me for telling them because they switched systems and something changed on them causing a labeling error.
Follow up email received.. we are sending you the WHITE led switches and a return label for the red ones.


Absolute hands down GREAT customer service.

Anyone looking to make this mod, purchase from the link in post #1, wait a week for delivery and know they have your back.

 

I didn't go looking. Was that through cartrimhome? My rear driverside occasionally needs a 2nd pull.

Regardless, that's decent customer service even if they goofed on the initial replacement.

Shit I should've read this thread before getting excited and placing an order on ebay. I realized that I need to order from CTH for the 1794 edition. Now I guess I have to sale the other style I'm going to receive.

 

Can the passenger and rear door switches be replaced to the auto up down if i have the double auto on my original switches , i seen they a complete kit with driver and all other doors auto switches for original switches with just one auto
Double auto , for limiteds
Single auto has options for all door switches to be auto up/down

 

There should be an option for trucks that came with the front two windows already on auto.

 

Can only purchase the drivers side switch no options to buy the rest of the doors , not sure if they will work

 

Very interesting, I just looked and saw the same thing you saw. I could have sworn the Double-Auto page used to have all the same options as the Single-Auto page.
I do not know if the 3 passenger switches option on the Single-Auto page would work with a Double-Auto master switch replacement. Maybe shoot them an email?

 

I thought it did as well. I bought mine like 3 weeks ago or so, and I thought it was an option then. I wonder if they had some issues or things changed, or Mandela effect and we remember wrong.

 

I sent them an email asking if they have the switches available for driver and passenger for the 1794.
