2022 Hybrid Rear Seat

I just bought an allocated Limited Hybrid 4x4 that should be built and delivered in about six weeks. I'm trying to figure out if the rear seats fold up like they did in my 2020. Nothing really clear online and the online owners manual doesn't specify any difference between hybrid and standard. I know the battery pack is under the rear seat. I ask because in my 2020 I put my dogs kennel in the rear with a few 2x4 on the floormat to keep it level. Hoping I can do the same!

 

From the online reviews I've seen they do. Its just the battery underneath

 

They hold up but no rear storage underneath

 

Just as others stated they fold up but no storage underneath, just a flat, plastic surface. The hybrid battery AND the 12V battery are under the rear seat. The 12V battery access panel is on the driver side.

 

I think the seatbacks also fold forward which is a nice upgrade over the previous model. I don't know how far they fold forward, but it seems at least far enough to allow access to storage behind the seatback

 

With respect to the comment about the 12v battery access, could you share more info. Installing a motorized bed cover and looking to properly connect. I locate 12 v by the engine bay fuse box but I have noticed that location is feed by or connected to the hybrid system New to these types of installs and any assistance or pictures to support will be of great value. Thank you
