Hi, has anyone been able to find a near perfect match to the factory black paint on the frame? I have some rust spots I want to touch up and would like to have it match closely.

    Thanks!

    Agree ^^

Hopefully you're not doing shady shit and putting lipstick on a rusty pig to sell. We get way too many people coming on here who get duped - and they always end up here eventually - and find what they need, info-wise. Karma is a bitch, and many states allow buyers to sue over concealment of issues.

My frame is in excellent shape, I just have automotive OCD and a couple of easily visible rust spots bother me.

I want to paint them before rustproofing the frame of my new-to-me truck.

    lots of dents
I like the Rustoleum gloss black. I find that the paint is a bit more durable than the satin and a lot more durable than the flat. Here on the wet side of oregon the gloss eventually gets dirty enough to turn to a satin finish anyhow. But if you want a great match, then satin would be it. It's a difficult color for me to find locally though. All the hardware stores around here carry either gloss or flat.
