    Hi gang!
I have a 2014 4.6L tundra that belches out huge cloud of blue smoke first thing, which then tapers off after a 30 secs or so. I also get the same issue after heavy breaking or breaking on an incline. I've replaced the PCV valve with oil change but issue not fixed. Compression test shows 160-180 psi, not the best I admit.
So anything that I've researched seems to indicate valve stem seals but a Toyota mechanic I talked with didn't seem to think that was the issue and just wanted the truck in the shop to investigate.
Is there anything else that could be causing this problem as I'm burning a quart per week but no engine leaks anywhere.
    Thank you

You didnt say how many miles you have on the truck....makes a difference. Sounds like oil is getting past the valves or rings, either or both could be worn.
