How do you adjust the camber and caster on these trucks. And yes I have an alignment machine I can use. If I do a lift kit I’d like to adjust everything to where it should be. Is there a video that shows how to adjust them?

If you don’t know how, this isn’t the truck to practice on. Even experienced techs have trouble aligning these trucks.

Maybe. Look on you tube. But these trucks are hard to align, especially when lifted. The smallest bit out has dramatic effects on the driving Characteristics of these trucks. If you don’t know where to even start on adjusting these trucks, don’t attempt it yourself. You’ll end of breaking the cam tabs or just making eveything worse.

Ide advise someone who knows how to do alignments do the work. You wouldn’t go on the internet and ask people how to replace a 200 amp service because you have some screwdrivers and a multi meter. This is basically the same level of experience.

To answer the OP’s question, you will only need to adjust a couple things. All at the same time…

Your LCAs will adjust the camber and caster, but that will also adjust the toe. You’ll correct this via tie rod adjustment, which will skew the camber and caster again! Then you’ll slightly move the LCAs to fix the camber and caster, which will once again affect the toe….

Yes, you can DIY this with the proper tools. Absolutely worth paying a coworker that knows what they’re doing since you work at a tire shop. Amazing what a 12-pack of beer will get you…
