My original key fob worked for about 1 year, then I started using the 2nd one that finally arrived 8 months after purchase. Now they conflict each other and unless you put one to sleep they cause communication issues with doors and lock and starting truck.
    Anyone else having similar issues?

I don't have my second fob yet, but how do you put one of them to "sleep"?

After 14 months of my original fob I received "low battery on remote key" on my dash cluster on fire up.
So I got lazy and just swapped out key fob components with battery intact from the new fob to existing one verses toying with the battery itself and because I have a AJT fob.

The truck didn't seem to recognize the programing in the newer second fob, meaning to unlock the doors by grabbing drivers side or passenger front door or locking it by touching the handle.
It would unlock/lock and start by physically using the remote. I wonder if when programing the front end of "do's and don't of the truck itself programs the remote at hand simultaneously.

Press the lock button twice on remote and hold it down, at same time with other hand hold down the unlock button. You will see a red light slowly blink and then it will go out and remote will be asleep.
To re-activate just press any button on fob.

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
Did you link the (now swapped) key to your profile is or is simply in a generic mode where it functions by the default values?

No, I just re-swapped the guts to original housings and stole the battery from #2 and put it in #1.
    All is good now.
