Mine looks the exact same way, my OCD won't let me touch it until I have the correct cloth and solution as to not scratch it.

The screen protech cover works awesome for this , then you can just clean it normally, no scratching

I put one on the 14" screen as soon as I removed the protective film. It's gives a little too much glare from the sun. Guess I'm hesitant because I don't want to buy one just to not like it. any non glare recommendations?

i don’t have any problems with glare , but I do have ceramic on every window and roof etc

the protech stuff is super nice , I got the HD film for the 14” screen and whatever came with it for the gauge cluster

i think they make different films though , maybe check that out

Lantu on Amazon for the 14 inch no glare/glass not plastic/no finger prints and 21 bucks. Not sure about the speedo area as I use a duster and plexus to clean it with no scratches.

Does anyone know how the Distance to Empty is calculated after a fill up? Is it based off the most recent mpg, or...?

I've noticed mine is a little different each time I fill up. And it's only been over 500 miles once. Usually it's around 475.

Cool! My best is just under 560 (forgot whether it was 558 or 559). But this with a 2020 with the 38 gallon tank. And I filled up when it show -5 miles to empty, so I had about 100 miles more if I's wanted to test my fuel filter out.

Not sure exactly, but after a long tow with my camp trailer, the DTE plummets, so I assume it’s based on recent driving behavior. I have been fiddling with using start/stop, cruise control, drafting, and have been getting 22-23 pretty regularly. Also keeping it more or less at the speed limit. This has all been using 87 Octane. I was using 91 until the recall notice came out.

That must be 32 gallon tank. I have a 22 gallon tank and mine normally shows approximately 400 to empy.

I've got the screenprotech shield on the instrument panel and have never noticed any glare issues at all. Highly recommend.

Range of 602 left after driving 167 miles. 24 gallon tank. Filled up yesterday and got 30.8 mpg mixed driving/towing on that tank. But that is cheating=diesel.

That’s awesome. I really pondered getting that same truck you have. Happy with my Tundra but would have enjoyed the GM as well.

If it wasn’t for the engine debacle I’d still be driving the tundra, but am very happy with the GMC.

I haven’t gotten around to it yet. I was thinking when they announced the engine recall I wouldn't bother, but now I am betting it might be a year or 2 before they get around to it, so I am ordering them this week and maybe do it over Labor Day weekend.
